Display additional model information on the product page, such as the model’s height, size worn, or other sizing details.

The feature uses a Shopify metafield to store the model information. You can add the information at either the product or variant level.

How to set up model information

Create the required metafield in your Shopify admin.

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings → Metafields and metaobjects.
2. Select Products or Variants, depending on where you want to manage the model information.
3. Click Add definition.
4. Set the following:
   • Name: Model info
   • Namespace and key: custom.model_info
   • Type: Single line text
5. Click Save.

Once the metafield has been created, enter the model information in the corresponding product or variant metafield.

Product and variant support

Model information can be configured using either product metafields or variant metafields.

• Product metafield: Displays the same model information for the product.
• Variant metafield: Allows you to provide different model information for individual variants.
